MEET THE FOUNDER

I’m Moné, I've always been fascinated by people, but not in a "tell me your favourite colour" kind of way.

People often ask me how I went from helping organisations build better cultures to talking about relationships, intimacy and what it means to live a deeply fulfilling life. The truth is, I don't see them as different conversations. No matter which company I walked into, the challenges were remarkably similar. People struggled to communicate, they avoided difficult conversations, trust was fragile, relationships broke down, people felt overwhelmed and teams became disconnected. Then I'd go home, catch up with friends, sit across from couples or have conversations with people outside of work... and I'd hear exactly the same stories.

It made me realise that we've become incredibly good at teaching people how to build careers, businesses and organisations, but we've spent surprisingly little time teaching them how to build relationships. With themselves, with the people they love and with the lives they're trying so hard to create. That curiosity completely changed the direction of my work. It led me to study sexology,  because I wanted to understand people more deeply. 

To me, they're all connected, because they're all about people. I don't believe work and life exist in separate boxes. I don't believe you can be disconnected at home and expect to thrive at work, or lead others well without understanding yourself first. Everything begins with a relationship, and every relationship begins with you.

My family and I stay near beautiful Melbourne, so when I’m not facilitating engagements, you’ll probably find me enjoying a beach sunset with my hubby, sipping on a glass of Chardonnay, reading something interesting, or spending time outdoors in a magical nearby forest with my amazing 2-legged and 4-legged children.

At the heart of it all is one simple belief: The quality of your life will never rise above the quality of your relationships.
